Hello and Namaste!! I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Troy University. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Iowa in August 2021.
I am an applied microeconomist with primary research interests in development, health economics, & public policy. I am also working on projects in behavioral economics and I am an affiliate of the Behavioral Economics and Organization Research Group (BEORG). For more info, please check out my research page.

Biography: I was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. In my free time, I enjoy capturing photos of wildlife and architecture. I also enjoy painting, creating mandalas, experimenting with recipes, and learning new languages.
